The I30 is a perfect example of automotive heredity. One look and you can tell it comes from a prestigious family of luxury cars. Elegant lines and distinguished styling that bears a striking resemblance to its brother, the Q45®. And like its bigger brother, the I30 shares the intelligence of the Infiniti line in combining luxury and performance. To understand more, let's start at the surface.
The exterior body panels of of the I30 are constructed of DURASTEEL®. This patented metal features 50% more rust-resistant plating thickness than conventional galvanized steel. Before the primer and paint are applied, the panels are laser-etched to remove any imperfections and create an extremely smooth finish.
The panels then undergo Infiniti's 3-coat/3-bake painting process, during which the entire body of the I30 is dipped into enamel and baked to a hard finish. This process is repeated three times. The entire car is then sprayed with a cross-linking clearcoat* paint.

I30 Interior Highlights:
In designing the interior of the I30, the engineers at Infiniti set their sights on two goals: enhanced functionality and openness. With 99.6 cubic feet of sophisticated cabin luxury, the I30 is not only more spacious that its nearest competitior, the Lexus ES300, it's even more spacious than a Rolls Royce Silver Spur III.

Dash and Console
Large guages create a roomy feel while improving readability. Convenience controls, like the radio and the climate control system, were moved closer to the driver. A thinner sunroof design was created to increase headroom.
Power Controls
The I30 gives you a taste of power with power windows and locks, an 8-way adjustable power driver seat and a 4-way power passenger seat.
Seat Construction
The I30 features an 8-way power adjustable driver's seat with adjustable lumbar support and a 4-way power adjustable seat for the front passenger. Seating surfaces are constructed of a unique blend of conductive fibers, base yarn and carbon particles which actually inhibits static build-up. The seats are also sprayed with a fluorine contained resin that causes liquids to bead up and prevents stains from setting.
Storage
Besides a spacious trunk, the I30 offers a variety of places to store your valuables. A lockable glove compartment. Map pockets behind the front seats and in the front doors. A sun visor pocket, a storage tray on the instrument panel, a large storage area under the armrest in the center console, a cup holder and for those over-sized items, like skis*, the I30 features a pass-through door to the trunk, located behind the backseat armrest.
Trunk and Cargo Net
The I30's features a fully carpeted and illuminated trunk with integrated cargo net to help securely hold loose items*, like groceries or luggage, during the trip home.

Optional Power Sunroof
For those who like the feel of wind in their hair, the I30 features an optional power sunroof (standard on the Leather Appointed and Touring Models). At the touch of a button, you can retract it or tilt it slightly to let in a breeze.
Bose® Audio System
Infiniti worked directly with Bose® to design a six-speaker, 200 watt CD and cassette audio system with two A-pillar tweeters and four amplifiers that surround you in sound.
Optional Keyless Remote Entry
This seven function keyless remote entry system allows you to lock or unlock the driver's door or all four doors, activate the internal lights, open the trunk, even activate a panic alarm from up to 45 feet away.
